December Daily Foundation Pages, Part 2
Here are my December Daily foundation pages, days 6-25. I used paper and stickers from both the Fancy Pants Saint Nick Collection and the Simple Stories 25 Days of Christmas Collection. I kept the pages very simple so the pictures and journaling would be the focus.
These pictures are the left side of the layouts. Please see my blog post Foundation Pages, Part 1 for the first few pages of my album as well as the format for the right side of my layouts.

December Daily Foundation Pages, Part 1
Thanks to a day of scrapping with my friend Laura, I have completed half of my December Daily foundation pages. Originally, I was going to create my album using chipboard and my Bind-It-All. After creating some pages, I decided that I did not want an inch of my layout to be "sacrificed" to the binding. Therefore, I bought an 8 x 8 Doodlebug Design Storybook Album for my December Daily. This album has page protectors that allow me to drop in the finished page, and all of the layout will be seen. It is red, of course!!!
Here are the first few pages of my album. The idea of December Daily is to document each day of December with a photo or two and journaling about what happened that day. So, you will notice that the left side of the layout has a lot more decoration than the right side. I am leaving plenty of room for pictures and writing!

You can't tell in the picture, but the stars and ornaments on this page are a transparency that is over the white paper with our name and title.
This page uses the other half of the transparency that I used on the title page.

Beautiful - Scrapbooking layout
The paper for this layout is from K&Co. I just love their papers. The pages are very simple - which is my style of scrapbooking. I cut the title using my Cricut machine. Of course, the pictures of my beautiful daughter make the pages!

Episode 39 - Halloween EEEK! Card
I used the Cricut Design Studio to create a scalloped frame by using the scalloped square from Storybook and then adding a smaller straight square for the inside cut. I stamped the spider web on transparency using StazOn Ink. I also used the George and Basic Shapes cartridge to cut out the rounded rectangle for the inside. The stamp sets are from Heidi Grace and My Pink Stamper.

Halloween Rosette Card - Episode 38
I love the current trend of using rosettes in paper crafting. I have found some pre-made rosettes; unfortunately, they are usually expensive and they don't always match my projects. I have been playing around with making them myself. I checked out several crafting sites and tried a couple of different techniques. The technique that is featured in this video is my favorite. I made this card using Ravenhead Manor paper from Michaels. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's Spooky Puns.

Ribbon Storage
My ribbon stash was totally out of control! I have been searching for quite a while to find a storage system that would work for me. My previous method of shoving them into a box really wasn't working!!! I checked out message boards and blogs and saw many great ideas. I liked the idea of sorting by color. I also wanted a storage method that would not wrinkle or crease the ribbon.
In my searching, I came across the Ribbon Ring system at http://www.ribbonring.com/. The price was reasonable, so I ordered some. I spent a fun afternoon sorting all of my ribbon. These are hanging on the wall of my craft room. I used clear pushpins for the hangers. When I'm working on a project, I just pick up the ring with the color of ribbon I need and take it to my desk. It sure is easier than digging through a box for all of the pink ribbon!

Eiffel Tower Dream Card - Episode 37
This week's card features another cut from the Wall Decor and More Cricut cartridge. This is fast becoming my favorite cartridge! The cuts are more sophisticated. Many of the new carts in 2010 and 2011 have the same whimsical and "cutsie" style. Very cute - but a lot of repeat images and images that are too babyish for my needs.
The Eiffel Tower is on the front of the Wall Decor and More box. When Shelby and I saw the box in the store, that image drew us both in!
For this card, I also used clear embossing powder and a stamp from Inkadinkado's Bold Damasks Collection.

Thank You For Being So Thoughtful Card - Episode 35
For this card, I used two Cricut cartridges - Storybook and Wall Decor and More. Storybook is a cartridge that has been around forever. I love it because it has tons of flourishes and pretty images. Wall Decor & More is a fairly new cart - and it is fast becoming a favorite! The paper and baker's twine is from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist.

Making Craft Videos - Episode 34
I have had many questions about how I make my crafting videos including how do I have my camera set up, what lighting do I use, and what kind of editing software I have. I thought the easiest way to explain my set up would be to show you!
I use a Flip Video and iMovie software. Both are very easy to use. I taught myself how to use them, and you can too!

Here is a card I made to accompany a going away gift that I made for a friend. The gift is a gratitude notebook that was inspired by one of my favorite designers, Kristina Werner. Here is a link to her post with her video instructions.

Graduation Card - Episode 31
It is graduation time again! My youngest niece, Samantha, is graduating from high school. Way to go Sammie!!! I have five more friends who are graduating this year, so I wanted to make cards that were easy to mass produce. I made two versions of the same card using different papers. The first card uses papers from the Making Memories Cheeky 6 x 6 paper pad, and the second card uses paper from the SEI Jolie Chocolat collection. For the sentiment, I used the Beyond Birthdays Cricut cartridge.

Hi Card - Episode 28
For this card, I used paper and ribbon from a Quick Quotes package that I got at a garage sale at my local scrapbooking store. Another item from the sale was a container of hardware from StampinUP!
